Emkay Global has placed a “hold” call on LIC Housing’s inventory. The company does not see any upside potential on the title. In fact, the target price is Rs 470 which is a drop from the current market price of Rs 485.
“We have incorporated a preferential grant of 45.4 million promoter shares (LIC). However, we anticipate additional capital requirements given the demand environment and high NPAs. Maintain Hold / EW in EAP with a revised target of Rs 470 (previously Rs 432), corresponding to 1.2 times the P / Adj. FY23E pound (1x FY23E pound earlier), “the brokerage said.
LIC Housing stock has seen a sharp rise in recent months and is closer to its 52 week highs and investors may well resort to selling in a rally.
Emkay Global is not bullish on shares of L&T Infotech and has recommended a sell on shares of the IT company.

Emkay Global suggested buying KEC International stock with a target price of Rs 475 per share, compared to the current market price of Rs 406. This is an increase of nearly 155 per share. compared to current levels.
“We are slightly increasing FY23 / 24E EPS by 3-4% on better execution forecasts in the Civil sector (14% of FY22E sales) and arriving at a revised price target of Rs 475 (Rs 460 earlier), based on 15 times FY23E EPS (its long-term average PE multiple). We expect an 18% CAGR for fiscal years 21 to 24E, driven by a partial margin rebound over the period, ”the brokerage said .
